Bill Hansen, CCE
A 40-year catering industry veteran, Bill Hansen caters, coordinates, trains, teaches, motivates, manages and writes. His Bill Hansen Catering generates nearly $2 million in annual sales.
Richard Lauzier
With 35 years experience, Executive Chef Richard Lauzier has worked as a general manager and as a food and beverage director in hotels, country clubs and in catering.
David Rand
David Rand has more than 15 years experience. He oversees $4 million in sales and special events at Northeastern University as executive director of Catering and Special Events for Chartwells.
Joyce Scardina Becker, CMP, CWC
Joyce Scardina Becker has more than 25 years event management experience. She is the author Countdown to Your Perfect Wedding, a “how-to” book for couples and aspiring wedding professionals and owner of Events of Distinction, in San Francisco.
Andrew Ryland Spurgin, Executive Director/Chef
Waters Fine Catering
Andrew Ryland Spurgin has more than 30 years experience as a chef. He owns and operates Waters Fine Catering in San Diego, where he was named Cater of the Year three straight years by the readers of San Diego Magazine.
Debbie Thomas, CSEP, CDP
Debbie Thomas is the co-creator of the CSEP exam for the International Special Events Society. With 35 years experience, she is a hospitality trainer, catering consultant and instructor of business etiquette at California State University, San Marcos.
